Internal Medicine

The Internal Medicine Center at the UAB Health Center Huntsville is dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of common adult medical problems with an emphasis on caring for the whole patient. Known as "doctors for adults," internal medicine physicians are extensively trained in treating common and complex illnesses and have had special training focusing on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of adult diseases. Our internal medicine physicians are dedicated to overseeing every aspect of your care, whether in our office, during hospitalization, or through a referral from another physician. Our faculty is Board Certified in Internal Medicine; in addition two are certified geriatricians.

At the UAB Huntsville Regional Medical Campus, medical students work one-on-one with experienced physicians providing direct, hands-on patient care. We are the North Alabama anchor of the UAB Health System. The UAB Health Center Huntsville boasts the largest physician practice in North Alabama and the only academic, multi-specialty facility in this part of the state.
